Jia Tolentino, the Joseph Chappell Hutcheson Jefferson Scholar, returned to U.Va. to help kick off Humanities Week on Grounds, a student-led series of talks and events presented by U.Va.’s Institute of the Humanities and Global Cultures. Jia, a staff writer for The New Yorker, gave a talk to students about the power and perils of online writing and how the Internet will shape the future of journalism.
