Making important discoveries in blood vessel formation

Less than a year after receiving her Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from U.Va.’s School of Engineering and Applied Science, Molly Kelly-Goss, the Olive B. and Franklin C. Mac Krell Jefferson Fellow, is being recognized, along with a team of other U.Va. researchers, for an important medical discovery. The discovery offers new insight in how to treat conditions such as diabetes, heart attacks, and strokes.
