Jack Brake, JS '18, shares with UVA Today how he used the 2016 Harrison Undergraduate Research Award

Jack Brake, the C.D.L. and M.T.B. Perkins Jefferson Scholar, was selected in 2016 as one of only 49 undergraduate students at the University to receive a Harrison Undergraduate Research Award. A third-year politics honors and Spanish double major, Jack used the $3,000 grant that accompanied the award to examine the history of the relationship between Christianity and Islam on the Iberian Peninsula.
