The Foundation publishes 5th edition of peer-reviewed, student-run academic journal

The Jefferson Scholars Foundation recently published the fifth edition of its Jefferson Journal of Science and Culture, a peer-reviewed, student-run journal featuring the research and work of scholars across multiple academic disciplines. Centered around the theme of “aesthetic and beauty”, this edition explores what is beautiful, how beauty is defined, and the role of aesthetics in understanding fundamental questions across various disciplines and cultures.

The journal’s co-editors, Josie Lamp, the Olive B. and Franklin C. Mac Krell Jefferson Fellow, and Bobby Moulder, the John S. Lillard Jefferson Fellow, reflect the interdisciplinary nature of the publication. Josie studies medical cyber-physical systems and cybersecurity in the School of Engineering and Applied Science while Bobby studies quantitative psychology in the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences.
