Lea Nieuwoudt is an M.B.A. candidate at the Darden Graduate School of Business and an M.Ed. Candidate at the Curry School of Education at U.Va. At Darden, Lea is a member of the M.B.A. Program Advisory Committee and on the board of a local nonprofit through the Net Impact Board Fellows Program. Prior to graduate school, Lea worked at Nova Pioneer, a start-up network of schools in South and East Africa where she served as chief of staff to the CEO and led the operations team, including opening schools in the Johannesburg region. Lea was also a consultant with McKinsey & Company for three years where she worked on a variety of strategic and operations projects. Lea received her B.S. in chemical engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
