George H. Seelinger is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Mathematics at U.Va. He is currently working on research-level mathematics questions in algebraic combinatorics, a branch of mathematics that uses abstract algebraic structures to gain insight into various counting problems. George is also developing a cohesive research program while continuing to learn more about special topics in algebraic combinatorics, representation theory, and algebraic geometry. George holds a B.S. in mathematics and computer science, and an M.S. in mathematics from Loyola University Chicago.
