Bio:

Lea Nieuwoudt is an MBA candidate at the Darden Graduate School of Business and an M.Ed. Candidate at the Curry School of Education. At Darden, Lea teaches in the Prison Reentry Education Program, was a Second Year Tutor, participated in the Tri-Sector Leadership Fellows program, and served on the board of a local nonprofit through the Net Impact Board Fellows Program. Prior to graduate school, Lea worked at Nova Pioneer, a start-up network of schools in South and East Africa. While at Nova Pioneer, Lea served as Chief of Staff to the CEO and led the Operations team, which included operational responsibility for opening schools in the Johannesburg region. Prior to her work at Nova Pioneer, Lea was a consultant with McKinsey & Company in the Cleveland and Johannesburg offices. After graduation, Lea will move to Chicago and again work for McKinsey. Lea previously graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
