The students who receive Jefferson and Walentas Scholarships come from all corners of the globe and all walks of life.
As members of the Foundation community, they join Jefferson Fellows, outstanding graduate students pursuing doctoral degrees across a wide range of disciplines and future business leaders pursuing MBAs. They also join Foundation-funded professors, who are among the most distinguished researchers and classroom teachers at UVA. Together, the Foundation’s Scholars, Fellows, and Professors form a powerful network of individuals committed to making the world a better place.
About the Scholarships
The Jefferson Scholars Foundation attracts outstanding undergraduate students to the University of Virginia through two scholarship programs–the Jefferson Scholars Program and the Walentas Scholars Program.
