Two Jefferson Scholars join forces to launch startup promoting climate science education

With the help of a $17,500 grant from the Foundation’s Exploratory Fund, Blake Blaze, the W. James Copeland Jr. Scholar from the Class of 2014, and Addie Klimek, the Reginald S. and Julia W. Fleet Foundation Jefferson Scholar from the Class of 2022, have successfully launched WOURLD, an educational platform offering interactive lessons on climate science.
Recently, WOURLD was selected as one of eight startups to participate in Lighthouse Labs’ accelerator program.
