Mark Sherriff, recipient of the 2010 Hartfield Teaching Prize, continues to receive national recognition

Three years after joining the faculty of U.Va.’s School of Engineering and Applied Science in 2007, Mark Sherriff, associate professor of Computer Science, was one of just two recipients of the Foundation’s Hartfield Teaching Prize. Now he is being recognized yet again. Mark was recently selected as the sole recipient of the 2016 Computer Science and Engineering Undergraduate Teaching Award, which is administered by IEEE Computer Society.
