Maeve Curtin, JS '18, receives Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award at U.Va.'s annual valedictory exercises

Maeve Curtin, the Daniel S. Adler Jefferson Scholar, is among three students at the University to receive the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award. Presented annually to graduating seniors, alumni, and community members of select colleges and universities across the South, the award recognized individuals who demonstrate notable character, integrity, and service. Maeve, who majored in government and global development studies, was praised during the valedictory exercises for “being motivated by the needs of others”.
