Evan Behrle earns Rhodes Scholarship

Evan Behrle, Scholar Class of ‘17, is one of two University of Virginia students to earn a Rhodes Scholarship. Behrle, 21, a fourth-year honors politics major in the College of Arts & Sciences, wants to pursue a master’s of philosophy in comparative social policy at Oxford, with an eye on working on urban revitalization projects.
Behrle is an Echols Scholar and chairs the University’s Honor Committee. He is president of One in Four, an all-male sexual assault peer education group, vice president and recruitment chair of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and a member of the University Guide Service.
