Citizenship and leadership continue well beyond graduation for members of the JSF community

Over the last several weeks, members of the JSF community have responded to the reprehensible displays of hatred, bigotry, and violence that took place in Charlottesville on August 11 and 12 with their continued commitment to leadership and citizenship. Some have led with frontline reporting, others have penned thoughtful op-eds, and still others have asked difficult questions and initiated much-needed dialogue between opposing viewpoints.

The Foundation recognizes the courage that is required to step forward and lead on the heels of tragic events such as those that took place in Charlottesville on August 11 and 12. Following are some of the ways members of our community have demonstrated that courage.
