The Jefferson Scholars Foundation presents the Warren F. Chauncey Lecture Series in American History featuring William Hitchcock, the William W. Corcoran Professor of History at the University of Virginia. Hitchcock will deliver a 30-minute lecture entitled “Leadership Lessons from the Age of Eisenhower” followed by 30 minutes of Q&A. His research and teaching focuses on the international, diplomatic, and military history of the 20th Century, in particular the era of the world wars and the cold war. His most recent book, The Age of Eisenhower: America and the World in the 1950s (New York: Simon and Schuster, 2018), was a New York Times bestseller.
