Last week, the Jefferson Scholars Foundation and the Shadwell Society presented the 4th annual Shadwell Speaker Series featuring Jonathan Haidt, the Thomas Cooley Professor of Ethical Leadership at New York University Stern School of Business and the New York Times best-selling author of The Righteous Mind: Why Good People are Divided by Politics and Religion.

More than 450 members of the U.Va. and broader Charlottesville communities attended the talk, entitled “America’s Escalating Outrage: Why is it Happening and How Can We Reverse It?”
